The three-year renewal cycle and the required continuing professional development credits
Browse standards & credentials
1 The cycle
Proposed for : the CPQLTD-T credential is valid for three years. Renewal opens 90 days before expiry, and a late completion may be permitted under the administrative rules then in force.
6 credits in coaching supervision or mentoring.
18 credits in the core CPQLTD competencies.
6 credits in specialisation, research, teaching or professional contribution.
One accepted learning hour equals one credit unless the policy provides otherwise.
3 Evidence
Credential holders keep attendance certificates, supervision records or research/teaching outputs, which may be audited at random. Falsifying renewal evidence is a separate ethical breach.
4 Outcome
On successful renewal, the record is extended by a further three years. If the requirements are not met, the status becomes “expired” and the holder may not describe the credential as “active CPQLTD-T”. Reinstatement may follow a separate procedure without prejudice to prior educational awards.
