CPQLTDStandards & Credentials

1 Purpose and basis

The CPQLTD-T credentialing framework (CPQLTD-CRED-2026-v1.1) permits documented external education to be considered under a separate policy; this is that policy. The purpose is a fair, documented assessment of learning and practice acquired outside CPQLTD programmes without compromising the minimum quality threshold for credentialing.

2 Qualifying prior learning

Coaching diplomas or certificates issued by a legally documented education provider.

Documented practice hours with a dated log and a client attestation where possible.

Prior supervision or mentoring hours documented by a known supervisor.

Relevant professional training (such as licensed psychological counselling) within limits set by the scope standard.

4 Limits and safeguards

RPL may not replace:

CPQLTD’s own ethics and knowledge assessment.

The direct practical (micro-teaching/performance) assessment.

The signed ethics acknowledgement.

More than 50% of the total qualifying-education requirement for the target tier.

Any RPL decision is re-assessed if the reference standards change materially, and every decision is documented in the applicant’s file.
